I remember when buying High Desert homes was a simple one page form. Today, we have so many disclosure forms and the list keeps getting longer. But think about it, if your the buyer you want to know about the High Desert home your buying. If you the seller, you want the buyer to feel good about buying your home.

Using disclosures, the buyers know what they are buying and the sellers feel more comfortable because there is less chance the buyers will complain about anything after escrow closes. The law requires a that High Desert homeowners must provide prospective buyers with a written disclosure statement covering such items as appliances, structural defects and modifications, possible easements, neighborhood problems and other material fact that may affect the buyers's decision in buying a High Desert home.
Are being held to more stringent and higher standards of care. Most buyer claims are for "failures to disclose" some item that a Buyer felt was important.
